Mantis Minerals Corp. today was ahead 67% at 25 cents with one strong buyer. Mantis is due to drill the Tamarack property in the near future.

Upon signing the option agreement with Probe Mines on the McFauld's Lake property in October of 2006, Mantis has agreed to spend $500,000 over three years to earn a 51% interest. The first year's requirement is $100,000.

Mantis owns or has options on many mineral properties in Ontario and one recently acquired option on the Rottenstone property in Saskatchewan with Uravan Minerals which calls for expenditures of $10,000,000 over ten years.
