Pacific Wildcat Resources Corp. (TSX VENTURE:PAW) ("PAW" or the "Company"). Recent media articles have appeared in certain Kenyan newspapers providing inaccurate statements and negative coverage about the special prospecting licence at the Mrima Hill project (the "Project") in Kenya. The articles make reference to a group called the Kaya Mrima Self Help Group ("KMSHG") and their alleged dissatisfaction with exploration and mining activities taking place on the Project.


The Company has contacted both the spokesperson for the KMSHG and the lawyer representing the KMSHG's interests regarding the articles, and they have both confirmed to the Company that the press coverage is incorrect in a number of areas. Both the KMSHG and their lawyer have informed the Company and the Commissioner of Mines in Kenya that "issues between the KMSHG and certain other parties have been resolved and that all parties have a good and cordial working relationship on the ground." The KMSHG's lawyer also confirmed that "its clients wish the Project to continue and succeed for the benefit of its clients, the country and all other parties."


The KMSHG and community are currently working with the Company on the Project in Kenya in preparation for the commencement of a 1,500 m diamond drilling program.
