Look, I have to question your view that Oman is ruled by a dictator.  Ruled by a king, yes, but from everything I've read and heard, a pretty nice chap who really cares for his people and has taken many steps to improve their lot, including diversifying into tourism and depending less on energy.  How you can label him a dictator is beyond me.

Bill's counterpoints are good (except for agreeing about the dictator thing).  I have long given up hope of a moon shot ... but I do believe this will eventually get done and when real action starts, then we'll see good movement in the stock. 

I am happy for you that you got out on the green side. Wish I had done the same.  But now, it's all "dead" money. I have moved on with other investments and no longer lose sleep over this.
