Multi-Billion Dollar Agreement Signed With Oman
Pity the poor Omagine shareholder having to endure these years of disappointment and despair. While the broad markets as measured by the Dow Jones, S& P and Nasdaq have been in a 7 year bull market and are all at or near their all time highs, Omagine has been in its own little world... ignored by apathetic investors, provided witha paucity of information to what transpires in Oman, leaving us with ominous undertones.I liken Omagine to a rudderless ship floundering helplessly in a sea of doubt, seeking sight or smell of land ( in this case prime Oman beachfront property) with the ship's captain nowhere o be found. A DISASTER in the MAKING?Heck No!On the contrary. This is actually great news... for new investors. Now is the time to buy Omag.
One of the lessons to be learnedfrom Investing 101 is to buy low. This is when the most money can be made, not buying stocks when they have been hitting new highs.Buying stocks that are cheap, having been beaten down for whatever reason, shunned by investors yet possessing intrinsic value, this is the road to large profits
These are the situations soughtby contrarian investors who, as a group, are among the most successful investors. There is a saying, "If you are not a contrarian, you're a victim."
The intrinsic value I alluded to , which I'vementioned several times in the past, involves a $2.5 billion real estate project in the Sultanate of Oman, the Omagine Project, for which land valued at about $700million will be received as well as $76 million in cash. This will create a company whose stock, priced around $2 a share will have a book value of about $20 a share. How's that for intrinsic value?
An obstacle to be overcome at this point is awaiting the signing and registration of an Usufruct Agreementwhich management believes to be imminent. At that time the land will officially be turned over for the Omagine Project. When that happens, and I believe it will, it would be better to have been in the stock before the news is made public rather than after, especially since the stock's market capitalization is a paltry $30-35 million.Just imagine what a flood of buy orders would do to a stock that trades under 5,000 shares a day when the news hits the market.
So, to all you investors, opportunity awaits.Climb aboard the Omagine Express and ride it to new heights. The time is now.
