It doesn't seem like they are (manipulators), but lets face it, even a trade for 100 or 200 or 250 shares goes through for ridiculous (low) trades. Frustrating but still a believer (at least in the upcoming MAMOTH INCREASE in book value). Don't know what it will take to get the market to recognize this. Maybe it's a " ... believe it when I see it ...".
