It's not at all possible that this is not and has not been on the Sultan's radar because he might be a tad bit busy with running the rest of the country (especially since his ministers appear to all be frozen in fear)? You're saying there's some kind of conspiracy against us because all of the other explanations given by management are far less believable?

Sorry, not buying it. It IS the Omanis, not their Sultan. The Sultan has probably long since forgotten about this project, incorrectly assuming his people are on it and know what they're doing.

Know what? Even when this gets done and built, I'm not sure I want to visit their country. I wouldn't be able to keep my big mouth shut and would likely end up in a hole somewhere.
