Muscat: Upon an invitation from His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said, the Majlis A'Shura will start on Sunday November 3rd at the Council of Oman building in Al Bustan area the first meeting of the 3rd annual sitting of the 7th term, which His Majesty specified November 3rd to be the starting date.

The session will start with a speech by Khalid bin Hilal Al Mawali, Chairman of the Majlis A'Shura. The speech will cover the features of the next stage of the Majlis A'Shura work, the breadlines of its work policies and its priorities.

Sheikh Ali bin Nasser Al Mahrouqi, Secretary General of the Majlis A'Shura, said in a statement that the opening of the 3rd annual sitting of the 7th term for the Majlis A'Shura comes at a juncture and important point in the march of A'Shura as it starts in the new edifice of the Council of Oman. The new building is an impressive leap for the Council of Oman which includes both the State Council and the Majlis A'Shura.

He added that the chairman of the Majlis A'Shura will patronize over the 1st session of the 3rd annual sitting of the 7th term. He will highlight a number of items listed on the agenda including planning the term activities
