I think the folks at Omagine are doing their best; they have more at stake then all the investors on this board do combined. However, there is an apparent lack of communication between the government and the company. On paper this looks like a homerun; everything is set up just need the signing. The problem is Omagine is dealing with people who don't have a tremendous amount of business sense or experience developing projects. The Middle East doesn't operate like America. Their mindset and work ethic are completely different from ours. A few decades ago the region was pretty much a wasteland. They import developers and foreign workers from all around the world because they don't have skilled people in their country. Not only do the leaders lack experience and business sense, they also have to deal with a culture that in many ways is still living in the dark ages. Investing in the Middle East is like gambling; hopefully we don't crap out. Like I said before don't expect to hear too much from Omagine since they have no idea what's going on...not that it is their fault.
Good luck!
