Bi-weekly Update for Lluvia-Jojoba Mine : 12, April, 2011
Minera Columbia de Mexico (MCM), the Mexico subsidiary of NWM Mining Corporation (TSX-V: NWM), has commenced production and gold recovery operations at Lluvia de Oro. The new leach pads, SW-1 and SW-2 are being loaded with ore from the Creston Pit and leach solutions are being applied to the ore. Gold recovery is expected to increase steadily, reaching annual production in excess of 25,000 ounces gold. |

Photo is looking to the north with the top of the ADR (gold recovery plant) showing beyond the ore pile.
The Company has received its operations permit from the environmental agencies in Mexico to commence production at the Northeast Zone at La Jojoba. Work on that project is scheduled to begin about mid-year 2011. The current reserve for the Northeast Zone, based on $900/oz gold price and 0.2 g Au/t cut-off grade, is 7.78 million tonnes with a grade of 0.773 g Au/t for a total of 193,489 ounces gold. As an on-going part of our mining plan, we conduct “cactus recovery” operations to save the cactus and some other plant species. The Recovery crew at Lluvia de Oro has created six areas of new cactus farm that receive plants in the line of work. The photos below show one of these farms and the recent transport of one of the larger saguaro from the area of Northeast extension of the Creston Pit. |

The Exploration team has been busy at the Campamento Zone at La Jojoba. The team has completed 221 air-track drill holes at Campamento, and the core drill is currently drilling core hole C11-003 – near the area of historical mining on the west side of the Campamento Zone. The exploration team has digested 38 previously drilled holes completed by various companies in and around the Campamento Zone and we anticipate exciting exploration results from on-going work in this area.

The exploration crew is also working on the “Gold Ridge” and El Cobre West areas situated about one kilometer southwest of the center of Creston Pit at Lluvia de Oro. Soil geochemical data from the Gold Ridge target looks very encouraging with many soil samples returning values greater than 250 parts per billion gold (up to 3,120 ppb Au) over an area 1,000m long and 250 meters wide. The adjacent El Cobre West area has very encouraging soil geochemistry over an area slightly larger than Gold Rid
