NEW DELHI: Gold traders can look for better sales tomorrow on the occasion of Gurupushyamrut, which is considered an auspicious day for gold buying.
According to the World Gold Council, Guru Pushyamrit yoga to fall between 6.21 am to 15.22 pm tomorrow is the perfect time for buying gold.
"Gurupushyamrut yoga day is considered highly auspicious to pray Goddess Lakshmi and seek her blessings. In Hindu astrological terms there is amrut or amrti yoga on the day and it is ideal to buy gold, make investments and start new businesses," World Gold Council said in a statement.
The day is also known as Guru Pushya Nakshatra. Usually, Gurupushyamrut yoga, the coinciding of Pushya Nakshatra and Thursday (Guruvar), occurs twice or thrice a year. The day is preferred by individuals and Hindu families to invest in gold.
Bombay Bullion Association President Suresh Hundia said that there will be retail demand for gold tomorrow, however, it would depend upon the international gold prices.
"If prices come down, demand will go up. If not, then demand is not going to go up," he said.
