My comment: I am not a fan of Excelsior, and I have never owned the stock. I follow it as it is part of the Cochise County area play. However, Hudbay's continuing interest makes the Excelsior story much more intriguing, especially with today's news. Why? Excelsior and Hudbay are recent partners in a new experiment in heap leaching, which could revolutionize this type of ore processing typical of copper porphyry mining.

Since Hudbay already has significant other exploration interests in Southern Arizona, this news should not be taken lightly regarding other miners and explorers operating in the same general area.
