I am still puzzled how day traders could really make any signicant money on this. Especially evident on low volume days with the price remaining in a very narrow range. Maybe day traders could have made some money--and I think some did--if they happened to get in at 5 or 10 or even 20 cents and then got out at, say, 38 cents. But even then, those opportunities seem like they were rare. And if they did this over a period of 2 or 3 or 4 days, they are not quite day traders. It seems like I read at least one post here or on the other board where someone got out at maybe 20 cents or so, and then was sorry when it went up to its current level. This post is just an example of how I post on here mostly as a hobby, and just am genuinely interested in others' opinions. I am intrigued by your mention of contacting a real expert. Again, always interested in a wide range of opinions, especially when I don't fully understand the news releases.
