The next press release I want to see is one announcing a trading halt, one lasting at least a full day before drilling results are made public.

Why?  That will add more excitement and anticipation to "the reveal," which should translate to much higher prices than otherwise once trading is re-established, assuming the news is good.  If not, it doesn't matter.

Adding an unrelated thought, the company could take additional time to drill more holes or perhaps deeper holes over what was previously announced, and I think they can do so without making a new PR.  ...just sharing thoughts about waiting.
