I'm still not clear as to whether or not this is scout drilling or something more than that.

Scout drilling is a quick pass to see if the area holds suggestions that further examination (i.e., more and deeper drilling) is warranted.  It usually does not have the geophysical detail we have available at Hay Mountain. 

Yes, I too, recall JB had identified drill locations for Hay Mountain.
