The potential fallout of a short squeeze like this could be a Silicon Valley Bank-style contagion.  This time, however, it may involve major financial institutions and not the smaller community-type banks. 

Note my wording.  I said "potential" and "may," so I don't know.  What I know is this is a landmark day, with POG now up 37 dollars to $2,072.70.  Each uptick today brings another new all-time high.  This is profound to be sustainable like this so many hours into the day with no major correction along the way - two hours to go.
