Note that the complex has a net present value of almost 1.3 trillion dollars, and A LOT of blue sky remains to add additional value.
We all remember talk about Rosemont being structurally similar to Hay Mountain and JB's insistence that Hay Mountain probably contains at least a trillion dollars in metals. The above news supports that claim, although Hay Mountain is thought to have the potential for far richer ore. Another significant difference is that the Copper World ores are at and near the surface.
Also, HudBay has a 100 percent interest in their Copper Word claims and is capable of arranging their own financings, if needed.
In any event, today's news adds interest to mining opportunities in southern Arizona. That must benefit LBSR to some degree. By how much remains to be seen.
