I found the new science on the origins of substantial copper deposits very interesting based on what we know about Caldera theory. What I read of the new science didn't mention it, but Caldera theory - collapsed super massive volcanic structures - fits nicely into the latest thinking. It is almost too logical; wondering if this was understood earlier but not described in quite the same way.
I don't think it will make much difference in the exploration business. ...just a supportive side note, I think. But I may have missed something because I am not formally educated in this area.
