Combining Classic Mineral Exploration with State of the Art Technology
I would have to disagree somewhat with the comments on the updates - we do get blurbs every couple of months from BG (see LBSR website). Problem is, they often tend to be misleading, or maybe a modified version of smoke and mirrors.
August 24th NR - "The first round of drilling will begin as early as the next three months."
It doesn't say drilling will begin in three months, but that is what people read it as being.
September 13th Update - "If all goes well, we may begin drilling as early as November."
Obviously all has not gone well. Why build up expectations when you have no idea how things will go, as shown by this:
January 4th Update - "Arizona State Land Department (ASLD) required archeological and native plant studies . . . were submitted and are awaiting approval from that agency. . . . We expect approval within the 1st quarter of 2022. State approval of the Studies is required before we can proceed with new ground-based IP (induced polarization) and drilling activities."
Did he not know back in August and September how long it would take the ASLD to approve those reports? Shouldn't a CEO know something like this before he writes those earlier projections?
Also from the January 4th Update - "We will work toward Phase 1 drilling throughout the first quarter".
First we were working toward drilling by November. Now it is in the first three months of 2022, which is about 2/3 gone. It is about time for another blurb - any bets on it saying we should be drilling by end of summer?
