Message: Puzzle me Drilling

Willy- While these are all positive selected snippets of reports from many entities- we don't know what their final conclusions were. But we have a good idea. Namely- that to a one- all spoke with their actions and all- including Phelps-Dodge decided not to proceed. That's 7 companies that took a pass on Red Rock Canyon.

Like I said-these are just small edited and selected excerpts- and- as an example that I have personal knowledge of- while the JABA report sounds as positive as the rest- Jim Briscoe has commented that when he drilled there he found nothing that led him to proceed further. But yet- that JABA statement is used as a positive testimonial, when that was not actually the conclusion of the company. That may be the case with the other "testimonials" as well. Again- their actions speak louder than those carefully selected words.

Now- I'm not contending there is no gold there- clearly there is some- and if we are lucky- maybe we will intersect some. But- it is puzzling why- if the funders were impressed with Guarneras's report- why weren't they equally -or more impressed with SRK's assessment of Hay Mountain. Certainly they are considered a most consequential authority- and their assessment of Hay Mountain was "to drill". And supposedly Wilson et al has supposedly added even more compelling data- and we also now have the 3D ZTEM data as well, whereas SRK only had the 2D version.

Was Hay Mountain presented properly- or even presented? Was there a desire to do something-just different from what Jim Briscoe was proposing? I don't know. It just seems odd- and concerning- that we finally have funds in hand and it is being spent on a smaller project with likely less probability of success, and with less defined targets-remember- there is no ZTEM to guide us here- and as described, even the veggie sampling is incomplete and in progress. There are just some widely scattered drill holes- some good- some empty- in an area that was given up upon by the 7-count them- 7 entities that are- ironically- being used as positive references.

I, for one, would clearly prefer the funds be used to start drilling at Hay Mountain. And- I'd very much like to hear the company's rational for not wanting to do the same.
