So despite fanciful images of our intrepid pseudogeologist wannabee duo hold up in some hot dusty shack out in the Arizona brushland- it turns out that Sierra Vista is actually a nice modern little town, according to reliable sources. It's just that it is really nowhere near Hay Mountain- being over 20 miles away. It is difficult to see how it can really be a "field office" or "staging area". Did they really just relocate their drop box "headquarters" from Tuscon to SV? Just another "activity" to report on while nothing really substantive being done.
