Base metals are taking a hit this morning.  Precious metals were down strongly overnight in global markets, but have been recovering, now strongly higher.  At this moment, POG is up nearly 16 dollars from yesterday's NYC closing price, while the price of silver is off 13 cents after having been off 46 cents earlier.

Speaking of silver, here's an interesting chart.  While a bit off-topic for our concerns it is reflective of general interests in the metals markets.
