Uranium, copper, oil.  Who cares?  We can continue to import all we need, right? Arizona alone could supply all or almost all of the copper and uranium this country would ever need.  Yet our two US senators are opposed to mining here and probably anyplace in the country.  They are the authors of the bill.

And they both happen to be from Tucson.  It is shameful the wealth they deny the state and the nation, preferring instead to send our dollars overseas, making us buy the raw materials needed by domestic industries.
