Combining Classic Mineral Exploration with State of the Art Technology
I don't think anyone disputes the fact that Jim Briscoe's main contribution is his stellar instinct and geological expertise. I don't think anyone has demanded that he be in charge again. He has raised millions of dollars over the years that really can only be done with someone that knows the process inside out.
There should be someone with business experience that can fine tune day to day operations. But investors and shareholders deserve more than a part-time CEO with no experience in the field and no basic finesse to communicate with the public. So much damage has been done when we should be moving forward. I hope that we have not missed Liberty Star's best mining environment in over a decade. People want to do business with those they like. We have a real problem here.
Jim Briscoe should have been reimbursed in shares at the rate Brett has afforded himself. There should be no such thing as supershares. A takeover probably would be good for all involved. As the head of a company, you should be looking out for the shareholders before yourself. It is something called "servant leadership."
