Very optimistic view. And we all will be thrilled if a deal is announced tomorrow. Including me. But I'm not holding my breath. Here we see Brett Gross jettisoning a most experienced, innovative and knowledgable geologist- namely James Briscoe- who just happened to grow up in the Tombstone area- with unique and irreplaceable life long familiarity with the area and who has been devoted to this company 24/7 (not 1/1) and also worked for a pittance or less on our behalf- and who also is one of the world's acknowledged authorities on porphyry copper- and replaced him with a crew of journeyman hacks and inexperienced acolytes. In addition- he already had in hand a costly and exhaustively researched report by SRK- the acknowledged best in the business- which was commissioned by Mr. Briscoe. And he now has expended funds and time to prepare this new report by this new collection of  geologists. This wayward group includes a Pim van Geffen- who's incorrect interpretations and opinions reportedly required correction by the eminent Biogeologist Shea Clark Smith.

Together- they have generated an alternative report- steering us away from from the center of the copper ore deposit as previously carefully determined by ZTEM, geochemical assays, biogeochemical assays and other modalities. While their minor findings may be of passing interest- and eventually may  even be useful at a later development stage- what we need now is to locate and drill into the targets which are most likely to yield positive results. Which we have already long identified!

So why has BG chosen this path? It is difficult to understand. To some degree- we can only speculate. But sometimes pathology and emotions can overide common sense and good judgement. One possibility is that BG is so consumed by jealousy and hate for Mr. Briscoe, that he would go to any lengths- even to the company's detriment- just to show that he might find his way independent of that laid out by JB.  Why? JB had the temerity to correct and criticize BG when called for. Something that BG apparently couldn't take very well. So it is possible that he so resents JB that he would go to extraordinary lengths to carry out a kind of vendetta. Why else would he have wasted our time, money and effort on pointless law suits simply to harrass JB? Why else would he have reportedly confiscated years worth of historically and geologically valuable records as well as valuable equipment from Mr. Briscoe? Why would he have ejected him from the BOD and from management in the first place? And now this. Simply to find targets that don't have JB's fingerprints on them? 

I know the hope is that this group was brought in because they might have some connection with a big corporation- and- as the optimistic theory goes- this will lead to a JV. Maybe so. But I hope instead BG doesn't bring us all down with him as he persists down this path.
