I am not quite sure what Monday morning will bring, but I agree that this very significant move by Warren Buffett into a US-based gold producer is going to upset the apple cart in the precious metals mining industry.  I believe that because this is quite likely to send "mom- and pop-type" average investor flooding back into the precious metals sector as happened in the late 1970s.  We have not so much seen them in the mining sector so far.   

In other words, the captain just ordered this starship to engage warp speed!  Beware the afterburners!
