I do agree that, while good PR- in this day and age, there is little substantive that would come from an  on site visit. It is absurd that the difficulty in arranging such a visit is being blamed for lack of progress in achieving a deal. Not only could any useful information be transmitted electronically- it could only be done so. There is really not much to be gleaned from tramping around over the scrub brush- unless you are a Jim Briscoe- and these guys are most likely not that. What JB saw was the big caldera picture. And for him- he had the imagination and "second sight" to be able to visualize this from walking the land. For the rest of us mortals- this can only be appreciated by other means- and even then- only after it has been painstakenly pointed out and explained to us. Likewise- potential investors.

If BG and company really wanted to move forward- they could put together a video presentation- using some of the money otherwise being wasted on the idiotic lawsuits- using already available Google map images- illustrating the big picture from above and then smoothly zooming in on what looks like boring scrub land (absent any threatened flora and fauna or archeological treasures) and then dramatically bringing in the ZTEM images- all to a backround of thrilling Hans Zimmer music (see Crimson Tide). I can see it now. Done right- and with a powerful narration- it could be quite a show and very persuasive. More so than sweating it out walking the scrub land. It's not what's on the ground- but what's under the ground that counts. And seeing it in person isn't going to advance the cause- until it comes to putting pen to paper to sign the deal. In fact- even that could probably be done electronically. And if not- BG might have to make the effort and take a few days off from work- and travel down to Chile or- where ever- to seal the deal. But to advance a deal- they shouldn't have to come here.
