Yes and no.  I would be comfortable with JB on the board and as chief geologist, or at least as chief geologist if he would hold that position while not also being on the BOD.  Now if you would call him and find out why he says he resigned from the board (after being relieved as CEO) you may think a bit differently than you do, ...maybe.
