We have lots of news from Chile this morning, too much for me to bother listing the links. But an overview includes riots, use of water cannons, looting, plant shut-downs, and the cancellation of an international meeting of human rights advocates. I expect more such news.
Copper prices seem unaffected by all of this, but supply disruptions will eventually come to the market. No matter - we've shown here, and BG proved this morning, that copper prices are unrelated to the search for a partner, and that major producers are doing more than sniffing our tails.
