I would look at this as news related to mining in Southern Arizona, though probably not much impacting Cochise County/Tombstone/Hay Mountain. I say that because the Santa Rita Mountains (where Rosemont is) are visible from Tucson, and for many miles around there along Interstate 10. That's not the case with Hay Mountain. Besides, I don't think that the anti-mining bubbleheads around the state care much about what happens between Tombstone and Bisbee. Then, too, the county and local chambers of commerce in Cochise County will probably welcome new mining.
If what Hudbay is dealing with comes to us at Hay Mountain, it is not likely to happen until we are in a position to file for a mining permit. That will come after all phases of drilling are completed, so not something that will be happening soon. Moreover, Trump wants mining here in the US, so we are less dependent on other countries for our raw material needs.
Rosemont will be developed, I am sure. This is just a minor bump in the road for Hudbay.
