That last run in PMs you mention was founded more on speculation over increasing business activity (prompted by Trump's campaign promises) than anything at all related to deteriorating monetary conditions.  That was my point and my reason for citing the time frame I did.  It is more like the present situation than anything since.

I can well understand someone complaining about the poor performance of a stock they may hold,  but what I don't get is how someone can do so while also persistently putting up posts anticipating a dark future for that company.  Would it not make more sense for such a person to try to make up loses where one could have positive feelings about a company's future?
