Yes, there is something to that.  However, I've also seen instantances of exploration mining company stocks trading multiples of outstanding shares on news, and for two-to-three days as some of the same people trade in and out over the course of the run (because nothing goes straight up, or straight down).  Some people are simply drawn to trading opportunities and care nothing about the company.

I think LBSR will have a mini run on drilling news, and a history making run on drilling results.
