There are what seem to be monthly allotments to financiers who become immediate sellers.  While they may be subject to required holding periods, there have been enough "deals" for us to see a nearly endless streams of shares on the market.  The only thing that will slow that - not end it - is drilling.

For certain, those trades involving tens of millions of shares are not mom and pop investors, it's "our" underwriters/financiers.
