Nothing happening in this regard.  My sense is that a decision is on indefinite hold, owing to potential political fallout over likely new mining projects close-in to Little Berkeley (aka Tucson). 

Note that taking something out of National Monument status within sight of metropolitan Tucson to facilitate mining is something far different from merely taking applications for mining activities elsewhere, such as Hay Mountain which is withing the jurisdiction of National Forest and Arizona State Lands Commission.
