The questions is how long will it take a potential partner to finish the announced verification and due dilignece?    And before any announcement, a counter offer could take place and lengthy negotiations which could possibly go on for some time.    But, then again they may be close to a negotiated deal which the lawyers will draft with the typical back and forth which is bringing us closer.  I would be happy if something came down within the next 3-6 months but could be sooner.  Unless of course the other party walks away.    Hard to be optimistic after all this time.
