Combining Classic Mineral Exploration with State of the Art Technology
I've been following your conversations for the past 3-4 years and I am as anxious as any of you guys to see some action with Hay Mountain.
However, looking at the picture from snowy northern New Brunswick, it seems to me that a lot is riding on the negotiations with DOI for the Ironwood Monument land for the following reasons:
1. JB has made a few friends with DOI employees, which to me would suggest a potential agreement...
2. Asarco was also negotiating for 20+ square miles of property. However, Asarco being a Mexican company should contribute something before before having access to this addional land. A possible contribution could be in terms of a partnership with an American company such as LBSR.
3. JB being an ex-employee of Asarco, is talking with them...maybe discussing a formal agreement should an announcement from the president come about hopefully before the coming election. Such an agreement is possibly already written....
4. This potential partnership could, overnight, make LBSR a producing company rather than simply an exploration company.... I can only imagine the sudden boost to the share of LBSR should this be so....
5. Even if this was a possible scenario, Asarco could still be in discussion with LBSR for the development of Hay Mountain.
Unfortunately for us, none of these discussions can be made public wether were refering to DOI or any other interested company.
Ahh! It's nice to be able to dream like this...it must be the long winter months that never seem to end....
