Combining Classic Mineral Exploration with State of the Art Technology
(OT) You are right, KO.
Bundy did not "win" anything. This case is completely unrelated to land use rights, and has everything to do with federal prosecution over reach.
The whole story began over Bundy's refusal to pay grazing rights fees on public lands, and for resufing to adhere to BLM standards for care and management of public lands by those with permits to use it. His armed resistance was all about his wanting to use public lands as he saw fit. No one has that right.
He still owes fines and fees for his neglegence and should be denied all future grazing rights, at least until he recognized federal authority over federal lands, and pays his fees like every other honest user of public lands. Open range in modern times ain't "free" range.
