IMO, this is just more judicious buying by the same party who will be careful to not bid the price up too much, so as to not be bidding against himself.  In other words, I do not expect the high on the day to be a new, near-term high. 

I also expect the same in the coming days, at least until there is news.  This is what we have been seeing for weeks.  Surely beats year end tax loss selling.  Last year near this time, the price was half of what it is at the moment.
