Jim, thanks for the response, and for the reminder of Freeport's existing exploration holdings in Arizona and New Mexico.  I keep forgetting that they inherited those after cherry-picking among Phelps Dodge holdings to facilitate that takeover.  In recent years I've even watched some of their drilling around Globe on what were Phelps Dodge claims.

In any event, it is stunning to watch a significant recovery in metals prices during at time in which inflationary pressures are falling.  Should the Fed ever succeed in it's efforts to bring back inflation to support the economy, mining stocks will boom like hasn't been seen in over a hundred years.
