However, thought experiment: 1) Hay Mountain Drilling gets funded; 2) Drilling hits promising values; 3) Money for more drilling comes in; 4) 1 for 50 reverse split, so now there are 40,000,000 shares at 50 times previous price; 5) Continued drilling keeps proving Briscoe's theory correct. Do you think the market cap woud decrease? If market cap does not decrease the stock price would rise.
