Here's an example of what I referenced about why it's not a good idea to issue positive news on a Friday, when fewer people are paying attention. 

Our friends at Northern Dynasty this morning halted trading to annouce that the EPA will allow them to apply for permits.  Good for them!

But when trading resumed, the stock fell 12.5 percent.  That's not to say it would have been up on any other day of the week, but it is at least some evidence of how awake the market is to news on a Friday.
