As much as I think this news is relatively meaningless, the market likes it.  Northern Dynasty is up nearly 30 percent with about an hour left in the trading day.

Why I call this news "relatively meaningless" is because it comes from the State of Alaska, which has always wanted this mine.  It has been the US EPA and friends (donors) of the Clinton's/Obama's who haven't wanted it.
