In my limited experince, outcropping mineralization is not, in itself, unusual. It's quite common, in fact. But these typically are isolated features. What we have here is a mineralization at surface exending for several miles, PLUS now a very strong suggestion of what's called "widely disseminate" mineralization (at or inches of surface), taking Hay Mountain into a whole new ball game, IMO.
But, as before, we need to get some holes poked into the ground.
