The charts, I believe, are showing both improving fundamentals, and concerns over threats coming from multiple potential short term supply disruptions.  The second factor results from labor unrest in a few of the major producing countries, along with Philippine and Indodesian governmental "squirrelyness?" toward producers such that Freeport, amazingly, is leaving Grasberg. 

A spike in copper and copper producers could have a stinging whiplash.  Having said that, average grades are falling too, so who really knows what to expect, except that rich, new finds should bring premium prices in any market.

...and if Cramer can attack Northern Dynasty on the same day as one of his buddies does based on what seems outrageous evidence, he can't be relied upon anyway, IMO.  Knowledgable the man is, but he bleches hot air too.
