prices have rocketed higher today, and to new records. Zinc just scored a 10-year high, while lead hit a 5-year high. Copper is higher too, but only marginally. Still, it's at a near term high today.
The US elections, I feel, have little to do with the increasing demand. China is booming again. Prices for raw commodities headed there are shooting up, as are the bulk tonnage shipping rates, iron ore and coal being among the examples.
