Message: Why hold LBSR (about to be posted on the other board)

A suggestion to newcomers: investigate for yourself

Some messages posted here [over there] attempt to induce instant aversion to LBSR in newcomers to this board.

If you investigate for yourself you will find that the proposal to drill Hay Mountain in search of copper and other minerals is not without merit.

However, if you do not have the mentality of an explorer willing to take risk this is not for you.

Reasonable conjectures made by CEO, geologist James Briscoe:

The geology and history of the region (SE Arizona) is significant.

The existence of a strong magnetic high at Hay Mountain (identified with ZTEM) is significant.

The existence of geochem results at Hay Mountain consistent with a buried porphyry copper source is significant.

The presence and quality of surface indications at Hay Mountain of mineralization is significant.

The physical geology, revealing details of specific strata at Hay Mountain, identical to what exists at Bisbee, is significant.

The fact that these things overlap and mutually support each other is significant.

Now, if someone of wealth and daring puts all this together, and develops an understanding, in conversation with Briscoe, and if that person has the mind of a Texas-style oil drilling wildcatter, the result may be that funding for drilling is obtained.

And that would be a good thing for small investors not capable of funding drilling themselves.

The risk to the wildcatter, and one that is as much motive for such a person as discouragement, is that drilling will be done and nothing of commercial value will be found.

The first risk for small investors is that Briscoe and his network of allies will fail to find a suitable investor, and then that if such is found the result of drilling will be poor.

I think the right investor may be found and that drilling may produce good results. Therefore, I continue to hold millions of shares through storms of criticism and insult.

[I'm about to post this on the other board, where it may have a short life :-)]
