That is exactly what I would do if I had signicant funds for a PP--not just $3000 but enough that almost guaranteed drilling would be possible. If it is legal--and this has been asked before--I would buy quite a few shares on the open market while I was doing my large PP. So if you are right, that would mean someone is thinking about a large investment. I hope so.
