I would only quibble with your characterization of those particular folks on the other board as "smart". Smart people do not beat on dead horses, gleefully or otherwise. Smart people do not waste time and effort obsessing over others' waste of time and effort. Smart people have better, more productive endeavors to be inv olved with than the endeavor of compulsively forecasting the eventual doom of those whom they say are already doomed. Smart people arm themselves with facts upon which they form opinions, not the other way around.

Smart people busy themselves with success, either their own or that of others. Smart people don't obsess with failure unless it is to learn from.

Smart people have better things to do, and do them better than they do whatever it is they are trying to do.
