The word was "Dodgy" - a common expression in former British empire countries that is synonymous with "sketchy", or 'suspect' here in the US.

The way JB related to it being used, it was being employed ironically / sarcastically / oxymoronically along the lines of: 'You've got the dodgiest project -why it won't even fit into ...'
