Wesley, you are correct, of course. In point of fact, I was meaning Money with a capital "M", not pocket change which may be used, perhaps, for entertainment and learning.
Done in a controled way, as you are doing, this allows one to grow, gain confidence, and increase the "stakes" in a measured way over time. Otherwise, retirement money doesn't belong here.
This sector ain't easy, and one has to be prepared to take a number of bad hits to "stay in the game", while also being mature enough to accept losses without blaming others - and I'm not addressing that comment to you specifically.
Having said that, there is one golden key to making big money in this market, but it is a very rare occurrence. It's when earth science professionals mortgage their homes to buy stock following a dramatic new discovery, the same time as when when all the mining-related advisory services and news outlets are covering the story.
So, as they say, keep your powder dry, and be prepared with cash reserves to buy big time when news warrants (if it does) for this or any other issue. In other words, it's o.k. to "bet at least part of the farm", when the most learned professionals are doing so.
LBSR ain't there yet, so most should stay cool for now, though getting your toes wet is certainly o.k.
Cheers,
VP
