"It just sucks that amateurs (like me) bought into the hype..."

If you mean "hype" in terms of intentions to deceive, to promote extravacantly, I would strongly disagree, and would challange you to show samples of anything coming from the company that is more than matter-of-fact stuff, and typical forward looking statements based on evidence at hand.

In fact, I haven't even seen any message board postings that look to me like "hype", and there certainly haven't been any paid promotions.

Having said these things, I don't read message boards as widely as I used to. ...just not enough interesting things going on within the sector at this time.

Now, and despite what I write above, I am no blind loyalist in regards to what the company puts out. For example, I take exception to your being encouraged by insider buying - I'm not so impressed. I feel this was merely, or largely a response to message board criticism of BOD members for not holding more than options, and that the lack of insider buying was a negative.

IMO, lack on insider buying is not a negative, but it is more often used as a complaint by those who lack knowledge of this market segment, or who want to use that fact against a company. After all, the first tenant of Capitalism is OPM, other people's money - one never, ever puts their own money at risk if they don't have to. In this case, I think some had the feeling they had to buy shares to help some holders get over the sting of the almost concurrent approval of authorized share dilution.
